When the earthquake struck Albania in November 2019, it left behind broken homes, shattered streets, and families facing the cold with nowhere to go. In those first difficult days, we knew we could not stand by.
Together with our team, we supported families across the country— including Thumanë, one of the most severely affected areas — where tents had become temporary homes and the sound of rain only deepened the silence of loss. We moved from family to family, delivering essential supplies, listening to their stories, and sharing moments of warmth amid uncertainty.
The weather was harsh and the work exhausting, but what we witnessed reminded us why unity and compassion matter most in times like these. Through our small contribution, we hoped to bring comfort — and to remind people that they were not alone
