WICTEC 50 SG-Design

Reduced profile projections, creating maximum transparency: With its integrated pressure profile, the WICTEC 50 offers an inexpensive solution with a similar aesthetic to structural glazing. Available as a flush or low projecting installation, both solutions are a fast and easy extension of a classic stick curtain wall.

Technical Specifications

System technology

  • Minimal external sight-lines with 43 mm and 51 mm pressure profile widths
  • Two options: 4 mm pressure profile projection from the outer glass using traditional IGUs, or completely flush with the outer surface of the IGU by milling the edge of the glass
  • Standard stick curtain wall construction with similar external appearance to structural glazing
  • Replaces the silicone joint of a classic SG system, thus no bonding/sealing, no technical approval, consistent external visual quality and the possibility of using standard double or triple IGUs
  • Production and assembly the same as the standard WICTEC 50 curtain wall
  • Overlapping and secure drainage at the cruciform, without mechanical mullion processing, ensures tried-and-tested
    impermeability
  • Consistent internal gasket appearance
  • Wide selection of structural profiles, with optional integral reinforcements, ensuring optimal performance
